Steve Keller & Associates, Inc. is the leading security consulting firm in the U.S. specializing in projects involving museums, libraries, cultural and historic properties, select universities, and facilities involving high value collections. We also work extensively with architects in designing complex state of the art protection systems and preparing bid documents for projects involving cultural properties. And, we have done extensive work for very high end private collectors, gated upscale communities where a large number of residents have major collections, and corporate art collections. Check out our services for architects at our Architects’ Support Site.
Our clients have included the Smithsonian Institution, the American Museum of Natural History, the National Gallery of Art, Harvard University, Yale University, the Statue of Liberty, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Jewish Heritage, New York, LAMOCA, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, the Norton Simon Museum, the New deYoung Museum of Art, Orlando Museum of Art, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, the Heard Museum, Phoenix, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and 700 other cultural institutions and select private clients. Some of the world's leading private art collectors are our clients as well as numerous national, state and local governments. We have provided security for such treasures as the Magna Carta, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Dunlop’s broadside of the Declaration of Independence. The majority of our clients are from referrals and repeat business. Some of the world’s most famous architects have used, and continue to use, our services.
We invite you to tour our site and help yourself to any of the resources you find here. If you are in need of a security consultant to assist with a project or conduct a survey, or security system engineer to design your security system or serve on your architectural design team, we would very much like to be on the short list of those you consider. Architects should visit our Architect Support Page to download all of the information that you typically need for a short list presentation. Members of the Press seeking information and comment for articles or information on how to schedule an interview on deadline should go to our Press Support Page.

You’ll see the “This link kills spam” link on several of our pages. This is a tool used to play mind games with the criminals who visit web pages and extract email addresses, then add those addresses to lists to whom they send spam. When they have extracted all of the addresses from our pages they then go to every page to which we are linked and extract any addresses they find there. One of those links is the link hidden behind the “This link kills spam” logo below. When they hit that page they encounter an infinite loop of bad email addresses that fill up their server with crap forcing them to either spend money to clean up their list or abandon the list entirely. This is just one way computer geeks like those on our staff mess with the minds of computer criminals. We wish we could share with you some of the other ways but we can’t but be assured that we are on top of computer crime and are on the leading edge of computer countermeasures technology on behalf of our clients.
Our website continues below this announcement. Please scroll down to begin after reading this announcement.
On April 6, 2009 our previous owners closed our doors for business reasons in order to concentrate on their core business, sports and entertainment security. Steve Keller, Alicia Ricci and Stephen Swen immediately negotiated an employee buyout of the company. This occurred successfully without a serious disruption in service to our clients. If you are an existing client, you should read the details of this buyout at the link provided. If you are a possible new client considering using our services, you, too, should visit the link for important information.
We continue in full operation, better and stronger than ever, and continue to service all projects, but since you may have questions about insurance, contracts, etc. all are discussed HERE. Portions of this website may be contradictory to the Breaking News at the above link, particularly the ownership statement. The website will be updated as soon as possible. If you have any questions after reading this FAQ page, please call us. Your understanding is appreciated.
Note: We keep this site up and running so old friends can find us. We have, however, changed our name and have a new website. We are trying to get the massive amounts of materials switched over to the new site but this will take time and we will still need to leave this site up and running for some time so we can be found. Check us out at www.architectssecuritygroup.com.

Not only is Internet Explorer not standards compliant, it is the world’s most unsecure browser. We urge clients to use Firefox or Safari. We support the worldwide developers effort to force Microsoft to produce a secure and compliant browser and feel it is pathetic that we must provide a special menu below just for Windows users who still must use Explorer. Again, protect yourself and get Firefox browser for a fuller, safer internet experience.
