Read and Subscribe Our Blogs
Blogs have been around long enough now that most readers understand that they are free and that “subscribing” makes reading them easier. You can “unsubscribe” at any time.
We have two blogs. Steve Keller writes a blog that covers breaking news, major thefts and incidents, breaches of security technology you need to be aware of, computer security breaches and incidents (because our modern access control and digital CCTV systems are simply computers on networks) and educational information on general security topics of interest to our readers. This blog is heavy on cultural property related news but reports on computer incidents and vulnerabilities because we feel it is important.
Steve Swen writes a blog that covers security technology, security product reviews, “how to’s”, and news of interest to our architect and engineering clients. While it is heavy on technology, we feel that security managers should read it, too, because this is the area most of our clients need exposure to.
How To Subscribe To A Blog
There are two ways to read our blogs. Bookmark this page and check for news often. Click on the link below and go to the blog of your choice. The recommended way is to subscribe using an RSS feed.
Nearly every browser has the ability to subscribe to blogs via RSS. If your browser doesn’t, it probably needs an update downloaded that gives it that capability. On the main page of each of our blogs is an RSS Subscribe button. Press it. Depending upon your browser setup something will happen. Follow the instructions to subscribe.
Both Steve Swen and Steve Keller subscribe to many blogs. They also both use Google as their home page. They set up a Google account and using the “My Google” feature, added the blogs they subscribe to to their Google home page. Now they have all of their Blogs in one place. Every time one of their blogs is updated, the latest headline is added to the top of the list of headlines for that blog.
